Your website is very informative. I hope though that through this I can air out my complaint. It's about the Loboc River cruise being handled by the floating restaurant operators. Before (i have been on these day tours 5x just cause my dad wants to treat our visitors for lunch at one of those floating restos everytime we have guests here in Cebu), it was so peaceful and enjoyable to be on these restaurants with an in-house entertainer, soloist, band, magician, entertaining the diners. Before my day trip this JAnuary 2008 the last day trip we did was October 2006. I went there with my friends from Manila and my family. I was disgusted to see floating rafts which serve as stage for unprofessional performers do some folk dancing and modern day dancing, including children as young as 5 years old doing some dancing stuff...The way I look at it, it is begging in the not-so-obvious-manner. Loboc River cruise is so commercialized that enjoying the serene environment that a tourist expects to be on this cruise is already gone...Take the Chao Phraya river cruise in Thailand, we get to observe the daily lives of Thai people...in their natural state, why can't we do the same???? Please bring this to the attention of proper tourism officials because Tourism should not be used for begging...Thanks..and I sure hope to cruise the Loboc River once again, peacefully......

I am a Boholana who live in Stockholm. I am so glad about this website because its resourceful and helpful.Anyway, one thing I would like to comment about Tagbilaran or Bohol which is oviously its a growing province now, is that we should care enough about the increasing traffic accidents and the increasing number of deaths every year just for highways accidents. Every year we´re going home to Bohol and my husband are too scared to drive in the island because not all our drivers have a good driving educations. We should put so much attentions on traffic rules and regulations. I mean before approving a driver licens it should be oblidge to go to a driving school, learn how to use all the functions of the vehicle, lights and etc. Know when to turn and how to turn. Because its so many drivers are just pretending to be a driver. I wonder how they can be given a licens and allow to drive passenger behicle or motorcycle etc.. We can see that Bohol are very impressive, the roads are nice now. But the people are walking in the middle of the road. Why? because we don't count on pedestrian lane or walking path or a cykling path for people to avoid accedent. Children are running in the middle of the road. Some road have no good electrecity, some behicles have no lights on, and people are walking on the road with out reflections on. It will also cause accedent. I think the officials should think on it for the security of people instead of waisting lives. Impose pinalties if necessary for those driving illigaly, speed limit should be imply also for the young drivers driving motorcycle or vehicles. yearly check every behicles and its should be obligatories and approved by responsible office. Seminars whould be helpful for the drivers and decipline. We shall saves lives, not waisting lifes.. St
