It could have been better if you had attached pictures of these ancestral homes not only for the President but for all of us to see. I'm truly glad that there are Filipinos like you who appreciate, treasure, and defend our heritage and culture. Bobbie Palmdale,CA.,USA

Yes, i'm one with you...NO to DESECRATION of BOHOL's CULTURAL HERITAGE!!!

I am one with those who say NO to destroying these ancestral houses.

It is probably too late to comment now but I just came to this by chance. I think it is irresponsible to destroy old houses without seeking all other possibilities in prolonging their life or even strengthening them. I have not been to this place but one cannot feel sorry not only for those people affected but also for the Phil in general when things of cultural value must be destroyed in the name of progress. The oldest church or one of the oldest must be spared at all cost and one does not need common sense at all to realise that saving it is important. I really hope that these things were not destroyed. Respecfully
