This is how I cook my fishball/squidball sauce: in a pan, i mix 1/2 cup brown sugar in 1 cup water, put a tablespoon of soysauce, 2 tablespoons of softdrink (yeah, coke, sprite or royal.. sarap talaga!), chopped garlic and onion (option of putting siling labuyo if i want it spicy), and a dash of black pepper. i let it boil, then i slowly add cornstarch (2-3 tablespoon, tinunaw sa super konting water) while stirring until i get the desired consistency. tapos taste ko. if kulang sa sugar, dagdagan. hehe. DO NOT PUT IN THE REFRIGERATOR kasi titigas yung sauce, pag ininit, buo-buo na. |
