Hi Ron, I'm not sure kong mayroon pa bang biyahi to Argao, Cebu. Ang bilis kasi na mag change ng schedules at minsan ng routa ng mga shipping companies sa atin. Sa FB account ng Lite Shipping Co. nakikita ko na may biyahi sila from Tagbilaran to Argao, Cebu every 8:00 and 16:00 o'clock daily. Argao, Cebu to Tagbilaran, every 4:00 and 12:00 o'clock daily. Hi Ingrid, it is difficult to give you the exact answer of your question, simply because you didn't mention from which part of the country are you coming from. If you are coming from Manila, you can fly or take a boat to Tagbilaran city. If you are coming from Cebu, you can either take a boat to Tagbilaran or to Tubigon. The other ports of Bohol are in Ubay and Jagna for boats bounding for Mindanao. If you'd like to stay at the beach, you can visit Panglao and from there you can organize trip to some of the tourist spots here in Bohol such as chocolate hills.
Sorry we couldn't give you a suggestion about hotel, since the word “affordable” that variates on the person itself. For some people, 2,000 pesos per night is very affordable while the others 700 pesos is reasonable.
To give an impression of the hotels and resorts in Bohol you can visit our hotels and resorts list in the information directory. Some of the resorts have websites, so can you can take a look for the prices, accommodition and locations.---Rodelyn

We are planning to go on an overnight outing; leaving Sunday and be back to Cebu on Monday.
The cheapest way to Bohol is via Tubigon. You can take a boat hourly in the morning. From Tubigon, you can take a bus, V-hire or contact a car rental beforehand to avoid hassle. You can find some car rental companies in our business directory.

From Bohol, you can take a boat from Pier 3 in Cebu to Tubigon or to Tagbilaran from pier 1 or 4. From Tubigon, you can take a bus or van for Tagbilaran. Most hotels offers package tour and for the hotels information you can check out on our Business directory.---Rodelyn

Since Bohol is an island, you can't go to Bohol by land from Manila. You'll have to take a boat, and probably a few times, to reach Bohol. However, if you really want to go by car, you'll probably have to drive to Naga, from there to Sorsogon, and then Matnog, from where you can take a Ro-Ro (Roll-on-Roll-off) ferry to Allen in Samar. From there you can continue (warning: bad road condition) to San Juanico bridge, and cross over to Leyte. Continue to Ormoc, where you can take another Ro-Ro to Cebu. In Cebu, then, you can finally take a Ro-Ro to Bohol. I have no clue about the time it will take, but guess six days at least. Maybe it is more convenient to have your car transported by boat directly from Manila to Tagbilaran, Bohol. This boat will take about 25 hours. You can either go on the same boat or fly to Tagbilaran.--Jeroen.

There is a fast-ferry from Tubigon to Cebu, takes about 45 minutes. We regret we cannot give the schedules here, as they are never announced but on a painted shield outside the pier, and change often.--Jeroen.

We would love to publish all the ferries schedule going in and out Bohol, but unfortunately we don't have their schedules and no websites to refer to. Also, shipping schedules change often.
