We have redesigned our Hotel and Resort listings. We have added more comprehensive search facilities, and will also allow for more detailed listings, where Hotels and Resorts can present themselves with as many details as needed on a number of pages.
In the coming months, we will update the information in our database as good as we can. Note that we are currently still lacking price information for most resorts, and have not yet added all features, so searching for prices or features in not yet very useful.
If you encounter glitches and miss some information, please report them the comments section below this article, so we can fix them.
For visitors it will become easier to find a hotel, based on a number of criteria, such as price, location, and available amenities, such as a swimming pool, restaurant, and sports facilities.
Since we will try to list all hotels, resorts, and pension houses, and keep their information up-to-date. You will be able to find those at ease, right from our front-page.
With each hotel, we have now added a review section, where guests can review and rate hotels they have visited. Here you can tell others what you think of a certain hotel or resort. We expect guests to use this system as intended, that is, that you explain your ratings in your review, and refrain from bad-language or name calling. We will monitor these reviews, and retain the right to edit or remove reviews. When we edit, it will be mainly to fix spelling and formatting issues, not to change the intention of the review. Manipulation of visitor-ratings by resort owners or their agents is forbidden, and may result in either exposure of this behavior, and/or delisting of the hotel in question if detected.
For hotel and resort owners it will be easier to present your hotel or resort, and attract more visitors via this site. Since the main purpose of this website is to promote Bohol, we will list all hotels and resorts for free. This free listing will include a single page of information, including contact details. To be able to list you properly, we request you to send us at least a description, working contact details, a few pictures, and some indicative rates.
Besides our free listing, we also offer a premium listing. Hotels using the premium listing can add up to five pages, with detailed information on rooms and services offered, many pictures, and a distinctive picture placed in the search results to make their hotel stand out. Furthermore, the interface will include an on-line inquiry system, where potential visitors can make inquiries and bookings, directly on this side. This premium listing will come at an annual or per referral fee. For details, please contact us. Since we want to maintain a good surfing experience our site's visitors, also for hotels and resorts having a premium listing, we expect information to be kept up-to-date and accurate.
Both listings are currently only open to hotels and resorts located in Bohol.
